Hotel Lac Brome, Lac-Brome

The hotel offers spacious and inviting rooms facing the hotel parking and the street, making it a relaxing place to unwind. The service had its ups and downs with ongoing renovations but redeemed itself with a lake-side view. Despite some rude comments about my appearance later in the day, the staff were responsive and understanding. The location is absolutely beautiful, facing the water with a stream in the back for canoeing, and close to charming towns and hiking trails. Although the dining could be pricey, the full meals were appreciated, especially during weekdays.

The hotel overlooks the lake with lots of windows and excellent lighting, perfect for a group of quilters. The rooms are a bit on the small side but come with a fireplace, a balcony, and DVDs and CDs. Service was mixed, with helpful staff but some rude encounters.
